Vicki’s signature Strong & Grounding 75-min class blends movement with stillness, strength with flexibility. It focuses on grounding through the breath and gaze during seated and standing postures, inspired by Love And All Is Coming sequences. Taught in English, it moves the spine in all five directions & ends with deep relaxation. Open level but some movement experience will be beneficial.

Find Your Yoga Alignment

6-week course at Terra Oslo

Tuesdays 16.00–17.15

weeks 14–16 then 19–21

In these 6 sessions, we break down the poses, focusing on the position of the body, hands, & eyes (asana, mudra, drishti). Since body structures & proportions greatly vary, the course is catered to your body & current level. There is a 2-week break in-between to integrate the information into your practice.

What you will learn: You will gain knowledge on poses in typical yoga sequences such as sun salutations (including warrior I & II), triangle, binding, twists, backbends (cobra, bow, camel, wheel), & inversions (forearm stand, shoulder stand, headstand). You will also learn when & how to use blocks & other modifications.

Alignment here is intended not to replicate a shape but rather to reap the full benefits of the physical poses & to avoid injury. You will be able to immediately implement this knowledge when you attend yoga classes or practice alone. Taught in English.

  • Some experience with yoga poses, but you do not need a regular practice.

    Being curious about your own alignment, how to modify for your body, or a general interest in anatomy is enough to join.

    You will be able to implement the knowledge immediately into typical yoga classes you may take in studios or online.

  • What type of yoga is this?

    • The alignment here is based on the Ghosh & Ashtanga lineages via Love And All Is Coming by Talia Sutra, & based on my embodied practice of over 10 years, as well as on observation of a wide variety of ages & bodies practicing yoga asana.

    When are the classes in 2026?

    • Weeks 14–16 (31 March, 7 & 14 April)

    • Weeks 19–21 (5, 12, 19 May)

    • The 2 weeks off in between are for you to practice!

    What if I miss a class?

    • If you cannot attend all 6 classes, you can still enroll. If you think you will miss quite a few, please contact me to arrange a lower price.

    Is there limited space?

    • Yes, there is a maximum of 12 participants.

    Do I need a mat?

    • No. You don’t need to bring anything with you! Just wear comfortable clothes to move in.

    Do I need to know a lot of yoga poses to join?

    • No. Interest in learning about alignment in yoga asana is enough to join.

    • All in sun salutations (including warrior I & II)

    • Triangle

    • Twists

    • Binding

    • Select backbends (baby cobra, floor bow, camel, wheel)

    • Select inversions (forearm stand, shoulder stand, headstand)

Inversions-Focused Course

Thursdays, weeks 47-50 in 2025, 17.00-18.15 at Terra Oslo

Headstand, shoulderstand, forearm stand, and handstand are among the inversions you can explore in these 4 sessions. Rather than practicing drills to reach the pose, I guide you through the steps by warming up the body and understanding the anatomy of the movements.

Expect a full yoga class, with pauses for explanation & practicing techniques of inversions. Taught in English.

Are you scared to go upside down? The fear is completely normal! Move at your own pace, to your own degree, without doing anything you are unready for.

Looking to go one step further, or find better balance? Deeper understanding of the technique will get you there.

This course is for beginners or intermediate (those with some background of yoga or movement practice). You do not need a regular practice or already do inversions to join.

Pricing full course: 1200 NOK by Vipps (max 10 participants). Can’t make all 4 sessions? Message me for individual pricing.
